STEP 1: ADD MKV VIDEO TO THE MKV TO IPAD CONVERTER (iPada 3, iPad 4 supported)

Click “File” menu and then select the “Add File” option to browse and add MKV files from your PC to the program. If your MKV files are at hand, you can also directly drag and drop them to this app.

Step 2: Customize output settings

Here, we just take MP4 for example. To set MP4 as the output format, you can click the “Advanced” button to pop up the Advanced window, where you need to open the drop-down format list first and then choose MP4 in the “Common Video” category. According to iPad 3’s tech specs, you can also set Encoder, Resolution, Frame rate and Bit rate etc in the Advanced window.

If you have trouble with the detail settings for iPad 3, there is an directly-optimized preset you can select. Just go to “Apple”>”iPad” as the output format.

STEP 3: START TO CONVERT MKV TO IPAD 3, IPAD 4

Note: If you select Apple devices, e.g. iPad, as the output format, your converted videos will be by default added to iTunes library automatically so that you can sync them to iPad 3 conveniently.
